This is a combination ticket that includes two very different and spectacular experiences: one is a ferry trip to The Rock, Alcatraz Island, the cell house and its prize-winning audio tour, and the other, The Roll, an exuberant, multi-media Magic Bus trip to and through San Francisco neighborhoods of the 60s. They may seem like an odd combo but there is a link.
The same San Francisco bay area theater artists, Chris Hardman and Antenna Theater, who created the famous Alcatraz cell house audio tour is the same fellow who created the critically-acclaimed Magic Bus.
Some of you may have arrived at this page because you are looking for hard-to-purchase Alcatraz tickets (and we will help you find them) but we also expect you’ll really enjoy the Magic Bus Experience.

Tour Itinerary
The Magic Bus

Start your day on San Francisco's one and only Magic Bus and let the good times Roll. Continue with a bracing boat ride to The Rock, Alcatraz Island, and explore the dark history of San Francisco's most popular landmark.
Only in San Francisco -- a mind-bending blend of sightseeing and theater and then a ferry trip to an acclaimed audio tour of our most infamous landmark -- all created by the same people: Antenna Theater.
Antenna has been creating immersive sound and theater experiences that have won worldwide praise for more than 30 years.
The Alcatraz Tale

We believe no one can tell the Alcatraz tale like the men who actually lived it. Antenna Theater's captivating Alcatraz cell house audio tour brings history alive through the actual voices/interviews of the correctional officers and inmates who lived on the island during the infamous federal penitentiary era. This audio tour is provided to every person arriving at the cell house on Alcatraz.
Hear different points of view of island prison life, including such infamous events as escape attempts, "The Battle of 46," food riots, and surviving solitary confinement.
The cell house audio tour is available in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish. and a audio described version for the visually impaired in English.
